Dublinia: A Living History of Viking and Medieval Dublin

Dublinia is an historical exhibit attached to Christchurch in the middle of downtown Dublin.  It was a location that I visited on a whim after seeing it while riding the bus.  The history of many places is much longer than the United States, however Dublin was settled by Vikings all the way back in 841 A.D.  It was a fascinating museum chock full of information.  The museum walks begins with Viking settlements, walks the visitor through Medieval times, and proceeds right into current day Dublin.  There are dioramas throughout the museum depicting daily life at different times and the tour ends with a birds-eye view of the city from a tower high in the church.
